For Example

Week 1

Day 1 - 3:  Uyuni Salt pans (Bolivia)
The Uyuni Salt Pans are the largest salt pans in the world.  There is a thin film of water on top of the salt which creates amazing reflections.  The salt stretches for many hundreds of kilometres.  In the middle of the salt, there are "islands" with cactuses growing on them. This is great for photos.  At Uyuni, there are also some beautiful rock formations and lakes.  We will explore the area in a four wheel drive with our own guide so he can show us all there is to see.  At night, we will stay in a hotel made only from salt.

Day 3 - 6:  Inca Trail (Peru)

The Inca Trail is a hike through jungles and mountains that leads to the sacred Inca city of Machu Picchu. The route follows the course of an old Inca road built in the 1400's.  It combines a beautiful mix of Inca ruins, mountain scenery, lush cloud-forest and rich subtropical jungle.  We plan to cover the 45km trek in 4 days, arriving at Machu Picchu at daybreak on the final day.

Day 7:  Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu was built by the Incas sometime in the 1400´s, not long before the Spanish arrived. It was then mysteriously deserted at the end of the century for reasons we can only guess at. There are many theories which only add to the mystery. The Spanish never discovered it and the city lay unknown for hundreds of years before its discovery by an American in 1911.  The Macchu Picchu ruins are beautiful and are situated in a beautiful mountain setting.  We will spend the day exploring Macchu Picchu and will take many photos.  We will walk up the mountain above the ruins so we can see it from above.

Week 2

Day 1 - 4
And so on
