Create a tour of your country

Your Task:
A friend of yours in coming to visit you in your country.  You will travel together and you want to show him / her all the best things you can see and do in your country.  Decide how long the tour will be.  Write about what you are going see and do.  Also, use pictures to show what the places look like.

South African Tour

Day 1 - 5:  Cape Town

Cape Town is a beautiful city full of wonderful things to do.  We'll go to Clifton beach and swim  in the Ocean and sun tan and play volleyball and watch the sun set.  Then, on another day, we'll climb Table Mountain .  The walk up the mountain takes two hours and is quite steep but the beautiful view of the city from the top is worth it.  On other days, we'll visit the penguins at Boulders beach and we'll go hiking and fishing in the Cape Point nature reserve.  We'll go shopping at the Waterfront Shops where you can buy lots of souvenirs.  We'll visit the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens where there are beautiful flowers and walks.  On the last day, we'll visit Robben Island where Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison.

Day 5 - 10:  Garden Route

We'll drive along the coast and do "The Garden Route."  There are lots of beautiful towns and beaches along the way that we can explore.  We'll stay in the town of Knysna for two nights.  We'll visit the Storm's River Nature Reserve where there is a huge forest to explore and beautiful birds.  The waves here are very big and they crash on the rocks.  It is great for photos.  We'll do the first day of the famous Otter Trail walk.  We'll also become adrenaline junkies and do the highest bungee jump in the world!!  It is 100 metres high and you jump from a bridge into a deep river valley.  We'll go out in a boat and watch whales.

Day 10 - 15: Kruger National Park

We'll return to Cape Town and catch a plane to Johannesburg.  The we'll hire a car and drive to the Kruger National Park.  On the way, we'll visit the beautiful Blyde River canyon where there are amazing rock formations.  At the Kruger National park, you will see lots of African animals like lions and leopards and giraffes and zebras.  You will love it!  You will be able to take many, many photos.  At night you will be able to hear the lions roaring.  This is real Africa.
